In this workshop, we'll explore visual imaging systems and photographic genres within the urban landscape. Our focus will span the intricate interplay between humanity and the city, unravelling layers of social dynamics through urban visual communication. Through street photography, architectural captures, UrbEx adventures, and cityscapes, we'll uncover the diverse facets of these art forms, decoding the metropolis' visual language.

We'll analyse participants' works, observing how they imaginatively depict both natural and artificial aspects of urban life. We'll delve into how a photographer's unique visual connection with the cityscape becomes integral to their artistic expression. Existing images and series will provide fertile ground for innovative growth. Guided by emblematic art and design philosophy texts, we'll shed light on the urban landscape's visual essence. Engaging in thought-provoking discussions, we'll critically examine individual and collective works, nurturing deeper insight into the visual narratives shaping our urban perception.
