A Contemporary Photography Gallery

PH21 Gallery is a contemporary exhibition space established in 2012 in Budapest, Hungary. The mission of the gallery is to provide group and solo exhibition opportunities and international exposure for contemporary photographers around the world. To this end we invite emerging and established photographers to participate in our regular calls for entries for solo and themed group exhibitions. We have hosted a number of inspiring shows since we opened, and we have had the honour of exhibiting works of talented photographers from all corners of the world.

Our main exhibition space is located at 55 Ráday St. in Budapest. In January 2019 we opened a second space, the PH21 Gallery Project Room, just across the street at 52 Ráday St.

Our programmes in our Project Room are supported by the Local Government of Ferencváros District (Budapest Főváros IX. Kerület Ferencváros Önkormányzata).

PH21 Gallery archives all photography exhibitions, allowing us to promote our exhibiting photographers to curators and collectors as well as the viewing public. Our website also functions as a virtual gallery site, and all photographs included in our exhibitions are presented on the dedicated page of the exhibition.

The photographers selected for our exhibitions benefit from both the online exposure and the brick and mortar gallery exhibition in one of the most exciting and lively neighbourhoods in the centre of Budapest.

You can also visit our Facebook page to learn more about our exhibitions and to see photographs of our exhibition installations and opening receptions.
